Aarne Edward Juutilainen (; 18 October 1904 â€“ 28 October 1976), nicknamed "The Terror of Morocco", was a Finnish army captain who served in the French Foreign Legion in Morocco between 1930 and 1935. After returning to Finland, he served in the Finnish army and became a national hero in the Battle of Kollaa during the Winter War with the Soviet Union; with his relentless fighting spirit, he rose to legendary status on the war front. Aarne Silvio Heikinheimo (March 20, 1894 – January 24, 1938) was a Finnish Major General. He is well known for his service in the Finnish Civil War against the Red Guards. Biography From the late 1940s to the late 1960s, Aarne Ilmari Niemelä was one of Finland's leading chess players. Aarne Lakomaa
Aarne Lakomaa (1914–2001) was a Finnish aircraft designer. Born in Finland, Lakomaa graduated from Helsinki Polytechnics. He fought as an Army Lieutenant in the Winter War (1939–40) and the Continuation War (1941–44) against the Soviet Union. There he became famous for fitting captured Russian engines to the obsolete French fighter Morane-Saulnier M.S.406, thereby creating a first rate fighter, the Mörkö-Morane ("mörkö" being Finnish roughly for "bogeyman" or "hobgoblin"). Aarne Lakomaa first replaced the original Hispano-Suiza 12Y 31 liquid-cooled V-12 rated at 860 hp with a 1,100 hp Soviet engine— the Klimov M-105P—which was a war booty.The Axis Air Forces: Flying in Support of the German Luftwaffe

Aarne Emil Kreuzinger-Janik (born 13 April 1950, Lübeck, West Germany) is a German lieutenant general of the Bundeswehr. He was the commander of the Air Force Forces Command from 2006 to 2009, and, from 2009 to 2012, the 14th Inspector of the Air Force. Military career Kreuzinger-Janik entered the Bundeswehr in 1969 and passed through the officer training and flight training as an aviation instructor for jet aircraft. From 1974 to 1981, he was a pilot of a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, and a news officer and deployment officer at the Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 31 "Boelcke" in Nörvenich. Aarne Kainlauri
Aarne Kainlauri (25 May 1915 – 11 March 2020) was a Finnish steeplechaser who competed in the 1948 Summer Olympics, finishing 10th. Through World War II, he was frequently on the podium in the Finnish national Championships, winning the 800 metres in 1940 and 1943. He won both the 1500 metres and steeplechase in 1948, but was selected to the Olympics only in the steeplechase. He repeated his steeplechase victory in 1949 before retiring to work for the Finnish National Railroad. He remained an active cyclist into his 90s. He turned 100 in May 2015. He died on 11 March 2020, aged 104.
