Aan Paavam
''Aan Paavam'' () is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Pandiarajan. It was his second directorial venture and first as actor. The film also stars Pandiyan, Revathi and Seetha. The film was released on 7 December 1985. It received positive reviews and became a box office success, making it the fourth highest-grossing film of 1985. It was remade into Telugu as ''Naku Pellam Kavali'' (1987), in Kannada as '' Rama Krishna'' and in Marathi as ''Chal Lavkar''. Plot Periya Pandi ( Pandiyan) and Chinna Pandi ( Pandiarajan) are two notorious sons of the village cinema theatre owner Ramasamy ( V. K. Ramasamy). Periya Pandi goes to a neighboring village to see a girl as arranged by his father towards his marriage and ends up in the wrong house. Coincidentally, those in the wrong house are also expecting a man to see their daughter on the same time and the same day. Pandiarajan is an Indian actor, director who has played leading roles in many humorous Tamil films and currently plays supporting and comedy roles. Personal life Pandiarajan was born to Sulochana in Saidapet, Chennai in a lower-middle-class family. He has two sisters, Maheshwari & Geetha. He has been married to Vasuki, daughter of Director, Producer, and Poet Avinasi Mani in 1986. They have three sons, Prithvi Rajan, Pallava Rajan and Prem Rajan. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Even though he was a Malayali, as was the case with the majority of contemporary South Indian migrants to Malaya then, his surroundings in Malaysia was dominated by the Tamil language and culture. Vairamuthu Ramasamy (born 13 July 1953) is an Indian lyricist, poet, and novelist working in the Tamil film industry. He is a prominent figure in the Tamil literary world. A master's graduate from the Pachaiyappa's College in Chennai, he first worked as a translator, while also being a published poet. He entered the Tamil film industry in the year 1980, with the film ''Nizhalgal'', an Ilaiyaraaja musical, directed by Bharathiraja. Tiruchirapalli Srinivasan Rangarajan, professionally credited by his pseudonym Vaali (born 29 October 1931 – 18 July 2013) was an Indian poet who is the highest songs wrote lyricist in cinema and whose works were in Tamil, had a five-decade long association with the Tamil film industry, wrote over 15,000 songs. Madhyamavati (madhyamāvati) is a rāga in Carnatic music (musical scale of South Indian classical music).
