Aakasmika
''Aakasmika'' () is a 1993 Indian Kannada language action thriller film directed by T. S. Nagabharana. The film stars Rajkumar, Geetha and Madhavi. The film was based on Ta Ra Su's trilogy ''Aakasmika – Aparadhi – Parinama'' thereby becoming the second Kannada movie to be based on three novels, the first being 1973 movie ''Naagarahaavu'' which incidentally was based on three novels of the same writer. The movie was produced by S. A. Govindaraju and has music and lyrics written by Hamsalekha. The film opened to packed houses across Karnataka for many months and won many awards and critical acclaim. The film was highly successful at the box office. The movie saw a theatrical run of 25 weeks. At the age of 64, Rajkumar won his 8th Filmfare Award in Best Actor Category. Madhavi (actress)
Kanaka Vijayalakshmi, known by her stage name Madhavi is an Indian actress known for her works in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada films. In a career spanning of almost 2 decades she has been featured in around 300 films and was hailed as one of the leading actresses of South Indian cinema in the 1980s. Geetha Kadambee (born 14 July 1962) is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi films. She debuted in the Tamil film ''Bairavi'' (as Rajinikanth's sister). Since then she has acted in over 200 films in all major South Indian languages, and in a few Hindi films. She also appears in South Indian television serials. Geetha has won two Filmfare Awards South and a Karnataka State Film Awards and Kerala State Film Awards each. Sadananda Sagar (11 May 1944 – 5 January 2006), better known by his stage name Vajramuni, was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films. He portrayed negative characters during most of his career and was considered one of Kannada cinema's finest actors. Over his career, he came to be known for his "thundering voice and sterling performance that earned him the epithets, ''Nata Bhairava'' and ''Nata Bhayankara''. ''Huttidare Kannada Nadal Huttabeku'' is a Kannada song composed and written by Hamsalekha for the 1993 film '' Aakasmika''. It was sung by Kannada cinema's most celebrated actor, Dr. Rajkumar, who also performed to the song in the film. The song was considered a turning point in Kannada cinema and took Rajkumar's image to new heights. In the song, the narrator asserts pride in being a Kannadiga. Gangaraju (born June 23, 1951), professionally known as Hamsalekha, is an Indian film composer and a songwriter who works in South Indian cinema, predominantly in the Kannada film industry since the late 1980s. Thoogudeepa Srinivas
Mysore Srinivas (17 April 1943 – 16 October 1995), known by his stage name Thoogudeepa Srinivas was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films and is remembered for his portrayal of negative-shaded characters. He is the father of actor, Darshan and film director Dinakar. Early life Srinivas was born to Muniswami and Parvathamma in 1943 as their fourth son. He had eight siblings.
