Aaina (1993 Film)
''Aaina'' () is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Deepak Sareen, produced by Yash Chopra and his wife Pamela Chopra. It stars Juhi Chawla, Jackie Shroff and Amrita Singh, with Deepak Tijori in a supporting role. The film was a blockbuster hit in India, and solidified Chawla's career as a leading lady in the 1990s. Singh's performance in a negative role was highly appreciated and is regarded as one of her career-best performances. Maya Alagh is an Indian television and film actress. Personal life Maya is married to Sunil Alagh, who is a former managing director and CEO of Britannia Industries. Their daughter Anjori Alagh is also an actress. Maya started off her career as a model. She was noticed by actor, Dalip Tahil when she had gone to pick up her husband, Sunil Alagh. The 39th Filmfare Awards were held in 1994. ''Khalnayak'' led the ceremony with 11 nominations, followed by ''Baazigar'' and ''Darr'' with 10 nominations each. ''Baazigar'' and ''Damini'' were the most awarded films with 4 awards each, with the former winning Best Actor (for Shah Rukh Khan), and the latter winning Best Director (for Rajkumar Santoshi) and Best Supporting Actor (for Sunny Deol). Kedarnath Bhattacharya (born 20 October 1957), better known as Kumar Sanu, is an Indian playback singer. He is known as the King of Melody in Bollywood. He is famous for singing thousands of Bollywood Hindi songs. Suresh Ishwar Wadkar (born 7 August 1955) is an Indian playback singer. He performs in both Hindi and Marathi films. Shitala Pandey, better known as Sameer Anjaan, is an Indian lyricist, writing songs such as "Mujhe Raat Din Bas", predominantly in Hindi language films.
