Aagot Didriksen
Aagot Didriksen (3 July 1874 – 19 March 1968) was a Norwegian theatre and film actress of the 1930s. She was born in Kristiansand, Norway. She debuted on 24 October 1899 in the Royal Danish Theatre of Copenhagen and made over 150 appearances on stage until 1942 when she retired. She also worked under the direction of Tancred Ibsen in the films ''Vi som går kjøkkenveien'' (1933), ''Den store barnedåpen'' (1932), ''Fant'' (1937), and ''Tørres Snørtevold ''Tørres Snørtevold'' is a 1940 in film, 1940 Norway, Norwegian comedy film directed by Tancred Ibsen. The Royal Danish Theatre (RDT, Danish: ') is both the national Danish performing arts institution and a name used to refer to its old purpose-built venue from 1874 located on Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen. Tancred Ibsen
Tancred Ibsen (11 July 1893 – 4 December 1978) was a Norwegian military officer, aviator, film director and screenwriter. Background Ibsen was the son of Sigurd Ibsen and Bergljot Bjørnson. He was the grandson of both Henrik Ibsen and Nobel laureate Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He married dancer and actress Lillebil Ibsen in 1919, and remained married to her until his death in 1978. His son Tancred Ibsen, Jr. (1921–2015) was a Norwegian diplomat. Aviation career In 1917, Tancred Ibsen started pilot training at Kjeller Airport and began his career in the Norwegian Army Air Service. He started the first civilian active airplane company, ''A/S Aero'' in 1920, financed by his uncle, businessman Einar Bjørnson, and two shipowners. The company successfully operated demonstration, advertising, and limited mail flights with Ibsen as the head pilot. ''Vi som går kjøkkenveien'' (We Who Enter Through the Kitchen) is a Norwegian comedy film from 1933. The film was a joint production between the Norwegian and Swedish film industries, and it was shot in parallel with a Swedish version titled '' Vi som går köksvägen''. Both versions of the film were directed by Tancred Ibsen and Gustaf Molander. The lead roles in the Norwegian version were played by Theodor Berge and Randi Brænne, whereas the Swedish version starred Carl Barcklind, Tutta Berntzen, and Bengt Djurberg. The indoor scenes in the film were shot at Filmstaden in Råsunda. The outdoor scenes were shot in Tollare and Saxtorp, southeast of Landskrona. The Swedish version of the film was released in 1932. ''Den store barnedåpen'' (The Great Christening) is a 1931 Norway, Norwegian comedy film. It was directed by Tancred Ibsen and featured Einar Sissener, Aase Bye and Unni Torkildsen. It was the first feature-length Norwegian sound film. It was based on the 1925 play of the same name written by Oskar Braaten (1881–1939). The lacklustre Harald (Sissener) is taken in by Alvilde (Bye), and charged with looking after her bastard child. It soon dawns on both of them that Harald has more potential than previously assumed. ''Fant'' (The Gypsy) is a Norwegian film from 1937 based on Gabriel Scott's 1928 novel of the same name. The film was directed by Tancred Ibsen, who was also wrote the script for the film. The film premiered on December 26, 1937 at the Eldorado Cinema in Oslo. The film is about a young orphaned girl Josefa (played by Sonja Wigert), who escapes from her wicked uncle (played by Einar Tveito) and eventually falls in love with a Roma named Fændrik (played by Alfred Maurstad). Fændrik belongs to a seafaring group of Roma that travel around Southern Norway, and in many ways the film is typical of the contemporary view of the Roma people and their culture. Guri Stormoen, who played the role of Mathilde, said that during the production her opponent Alfred Maurstad had stabbed her in the stomach with a knife during the filming of a fight scene, and that director Ibsen had ordered the actors to "fight seriously, otherwise it would look idiotic, of course.
