''A gURLs wURLd'', also known as ''Emma's Chatroom'' and ''Cyber Girls'', is an Australian children's television series, co-produced by Screen Australia, Southern Star Entertainment, Southern Star Singapore, the Media Development Authority of Singapore, Norddeutscher Rundfunk, and TV Plus Production. It first aired on October 6, 2009, and in mcpom on October 9, 2009. There are 26 half-hour episodes in the series. Premise Three young teenage girls – a German, a Singaporean, and an Australian – become friends while studying together at school in Singapore. When two of them must return to their homes in Germany and Australia, they accidentally discover that their mobile phones and computers can combine to transport them into each other's houses. KiKA (contraction of ''Der KinderKAnal von ARD und ZDF'' ARD and ZDF">ARD_(broadcaster).html" ;"title="he Children's Channel of ARD (broadcaster)">ARD and ZDF]) is a German free-to-air television channel based in Erfurt, Germany. Okto is a daily children's program block on Mediacorp's Channel 5. The block airs daily during 5's morning and midafternoon time slots. It is also a weekend Mandarin children's program block on Mediacorp's Channel 8. It airs every weekend from 9am to 11am. The Okto brand was introduced as a Singaporean standalone free-to-air television channel. A replacement of the Kids and Arts segments of Central, the channel aired mostly children's programmes, as well as some arts and sports programmes.
