''A Christmas Carol'' (a.k.a. ''A Christmas Carol: Scrooge's Ghostly Tale'') is a 2006 British-German computer-animated Christmas film. It is an adaptation of the 1843 Charles Dickens novella of the same name, and was produced by BKN International and BKN New Media, and was the first release in BKN's "BKN Classic Series" anthology of computer-animated direct-to-video films. The movie was first released in the United States theatrically in select cities by Kidtoon Films on November 6, 2006. The movie was released on DVD in the United Kingdom on November 20, 2006 by BKN Home Entertainment, and a day later in the United States on November 21, 2006, by Genius Products. Richard "Rick" Ungar (; born November 4, 1950) is the host of ''The Rick Ungar Show'', a two hour political and news commentary radio show. Ungar is also the Editor In Chief of The Daily Centrist website. Timothy Charles Robert Noel Bentinck, 12th Earl of Portland, Count Bentinck und Waldeck Limpurg, (born 1 June 1953), commonly known as Tim Bentinck, is an English actor and writer, known for his long-running role as David Archer in the BBC Radio 4 series, ''The Archers''. He was a member of the House of Lords from 1997 to 1999. He is also Count Bentinck in the peerage of the Holy Roman Empire. Early life The son of the non-conformist intellectual Henry Bentinck, Portland was born on a sheep station in Barton, Tasmania, Australia, but moved with his family to Berkhamsted in England at the age of two. Tiny Tim (A Christmas Carol)
:; Timothy "Tiny Tim" Cratchit is a fictional character from the 1843 novella ''A Christmas Carol'' by Charles Dickens. Although seen only briefly, he is a major character, and serves as an important symbol of the consequences of the protagonist's choices. Character overview Tiny Tim is the young, ailing son of Bob Cratchit, Ebenezer Scrooge’s underpaid clerk. When Scrooge is visited by the Ghost of Christmas Present he is shown just how ill the boy really is (the family cannot afford to properly treat him on the salary Scrooge pays Cratchit). When visited by the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come, Scrooge sees that Tiny Tim has died. This, and several other visions, led Scrooge to reform his ways. At the end of the story, Dickens makes it explicit that Tiny Tim does not die, and Scrooge becomes a "second father" to him.
