APRA Music Awards Of 2021
The APRA Music Awards of 2021 are the 39th annual series, known as APRA Awards. The awards are given in a series of categories in three divisions and in separate ceremonies throughout the year: the APRA Music Awards, Art Music Awards and Screen Music Awards. The APRA Music Awards are provided by APRA AMCOS; nominations were revealed on 30 March 2021, and the ceremony followed on 28 April 2021. The Art Music Awards are jointly presented by APRA AMCOS and the Australian Music Centre (AMC). The finalists were announced in July with the winners revealed on 9 September. The Screen Music Awards are jointly provided by APRA and the Australian Guild of Screen Composers (AGSC) with the ceremony usually held in November, however, it was postponed to 22 February 2022. Julia Zemiro
Julia Zemiro () (born 14 April 1967) is a French-born Australian television presenter, radio host, actress, singer, writer and comedian. She is best known as the host of the music quiz and live performance show '' RocKwiz''. Zemiro is a fluent French speaker and has acted in French. Amy Louise Billings (born 14 May 1986), known professionally as Amy Shark, is an Australian indie pop singer-songwriter-guitarist and producer from the Gold Coast, Queensland. Greg Holden (born 28 February 1983) is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in the United States. He is best known for his hit charity single "The Lost Boy" and for co-writing "Home", the 2012 debut single for ''American Idol''-winner Phillip Phillips. Early life Holden was born in Aberdeen, Scotland, and lived in Methlick in Aberdeenshire until he was three. Jamie Hartman (born 1971) is an English songwriter and producer based in Nashville, Tennessee, and the former lead singer of the indie-pop band Ben's Brother. Early life Hartman was born and raised in London. Career Ben's Brother Hartman formed and was the lead singer of the band Ben's Brother, so named because he has an older brother named Ben. Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project of Australian multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker. In the recording studio, Parker writes, records, performs, and produces all of the project's music. Rob Hirst
Robert George Hirst (born 3 September 1955) is an Australian musician from Camden, New South Wales. He is a founding member of rock band Midnight Oil on drums, percussion and backing vocals (sometimes lead vocals) from the 1970s until the band took a hiatus in 2002. Bunna Lawrie
Coloured Stone is an Aboriginal Australian band whose members originate from the Koonibba Mission, west of Ceduna, South Australia. The band performs using guitar, bass, drums, and Aboriginal instruments – didjeridu, bundawuthada (gong stone) and clap sticks – to play traditional music. "Mouydjengara" is a whale- dreaming song of the Mirning people.
