ACP Rail International, a division of ACP Marketing, markets and distributes international rail products to travel agents, tour operators and consumers. It is best known for being the exclusive global BritRail ticket distributor and a global sales agent for Eurail. History Since 1994, ACP Rail International has been a specialist marketing company serving continental European, British and other world railways through distribution, sales, strategy and marketing. Rail Transport
Rail transport (also known as train transport) is a means of transport that transfers passengers and goods on wheeled vehicles running on rails, which are incorporated in tracks. In contrast to road transport, where the vehicles run on a prepared flat surface, rail vehicles ( rolling stock) are directionally guided by the tracks on which they run. They advertise and produce brochures to promote their products, holidays and itineraries. Tour operators can sell directly to the public or sell through travel agents or a combination of both. The Eurail Pass, introduced in 1959 and formerly known as Europass or Eurorail Pass, is a rail pass which permits travel through 33 European countries on nearly all railroads and several shipping lines. Rail Transport In Great Britain
The railway system in Great Britain is the oldest railway system in the world. The first locomotive-hauled public railway opened in 1825, which was followed by an era of rapid expansion.
