ACH Volley Bled
ACH Volley is a Slovenian men's volleyball club based in Ljubljana that competes in the Slovenian League. They play their home matches at Tivoli Hall. The club was founded in 1970 and was based in Bled until 2011, when the team relocated to Ljubljana. ACH have won the Slovenian championship a record 18 times, including 16 consecutive titles between 2005 and 2020. The club also won the CEV Cup in 2007 and reached the final four of the CEV Champions League in 2010. Nikola Gjorgiev (born 23 July 1988) is a Macedonian volleyball player, a member of North Macedonia men's national volleyball team and Japanese club Osaka Blazers Sakai, 2009 Serbian Champion, 2017 Japanese Champion. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split in to 5 groups. The Middle European League or MEVZA League is a regional volleyball league, contested by the club teams from the Middle European Volleyball Zonal Association (MEVZA).
