AB6IX (; ''pronounced as A-B-Six'') is a South Korean boy band formed by Brand New Music. The group currently consists of four members: Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi. Former leader Lim Young-min's departure from the group was announced on June 8, 2020. The group debuted on May 22, 2019, with their first EP titled '' B:Complete''. Name AB6IX is short for "Absolute Six". Their name is also an abbreviation of "Above BrandNew Six". History Pre-debut Lim Young-min, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi participated in the Mnet survival series ''Produce 101 Season 2'' in 2017. Dae-hwi and Woo-jin placed 3rd and 6th respectively, becoming members of the temporary boy group Wanna One. Young-min and Dong-hyun placed 15th and 28th respectively. Jeong Se-woon
Jeong Se-woon (, born May 31, 1997) is a South Korean singer-songwriter signed under Starship Entertainment. Career 2013–2017: Pre-debut Jeong's first public appearance was in 2013, as a contestant in the third season of ''K-pop Star''. He passed the first round of auditions with a performance of his original song titled "Mom, Wait a Minute" (). One of the judges in the show, founder and former JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young, praised the musical form of the song and likened him to Akdong Musician, who were the winners of the second season of ''K-pop Star''. ''6ixense'' (pronounced "sixth sense") is the debut studio album by South Korean boy band AB6IX. It was released through Brand New Music on October 7, 2019, along with lead single "Blind for Love" and its music video. The album debuted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and 25 on the Oricon Albums Chart. It is the final release with member Youngmin, before he left the group on June 8, 2020. Olympic Hall is a music venue located within the Olympic Park, in Bangi-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea. In 2011, the Olympic Hall was renovated as a concert hall by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. Mnet (acronym of Music Network) is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by CJ E&M, a division of CJ ENM, part of CJ Group. Infinite H ( ko, 인피니트H) was the first official sub-unit of South Korean boy band Infinite (band), Infinite formed under Woollim Entertainment in 2013.
