A62 Autoroute
The A62 autoroute is a French motorway forming part of the ''Autoroute de Deux Mers'' (Two Seas Motorway). The entirety of the route forms the entirety of European route E 72, which is a part of the International E-road network, inter-European road system. The route of the A62 / E72 is between the cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse. The E72 was previously called E76 in 1975. The road is the western portion of the Autoroute de Deux Mers connecting Toulouse (as an extension of the A61 autoroute, A61) with Bordeaux with a junction with the A630 autoroute, A630. The road is a toll road for the majority of its course (free between Bordeaux and La Brède). It is operated by Autoroutes du sud de la France, ASF. The A62 / E72 is 2x2 lanes between Bordeaux and Montauban and was widened to 2x3 lanes between Montauban and Toulouse where it also carries the north–south traffic coming from A20 autoroute, A20. Moissac
Moissac () is a commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in southern France. The town is situated at the confluence of the rivers Garonne and Tarn at the Canal de Garonne. Route nationale N113 was constructed through the town and between Valence-d'Agen and Castelsarrasin. It is served by Moissac station on the Bordeaux-Toulouse line. History Initially Moissac was part of the department of Lot. In 1808, Napoleon decreed the city be attached to the new department of Tarn-et-Garonne. It was the chief town of the district from 1800 to 1926. Moissac was heavily damaged in March 1930 by flooding of the Tarn, which devastated much of southwestern France. Castelsarrasin (; oc, Los Sarrasins) is a commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in Occitanie region of France. The inhabitants are called ''Castelsarrasinois''. Valence, Tarn-et-Garonne
Valence (; oc, Valença d'Agen), also known as Valence-d'Agen, is a commune in the Tarn-et-Garonne department in the Occitanie region in southern France. Geography Valence is located from Agen, from Montauban, from Cahors, 90 km from Toulouse and from Bordeaux. The departmental road D813 passes through the town. Until 2008 the road, which runs between Toulouse and Bordeaux, was classified as a National Road N113. Exit 8 off the autoroute A62, which also runs between Bordeaux and Toulouse, lies a few kilometres south of town. A further connection is provided by the ''voie verte'', a path open to walkers and cyclists which runs along the canal that passes through the edge of the town. Marmande
Marmande (; in Occitan language, Occitan, ''Marmanda'') is a Communes of France, commune in the Lot-et-Garonne ''Departments of France, département'' in south-western France. Geography Marmande is located 35 km north-west of Agen, on the southern railway from Bordeaux to Sète. The town is situated at the confluence of the Trec (river), Trec with the Garonne on the right bank of the latter river, which is crossed at this point by a suspension bridge.
