A1098 Road (Great Britain)
The A1098 is a secondary route in North East Lincolnshire It is a very short but major 4.3 miles (6.9 km) of road. It runs from the A180 road and A46 road at Issacs hill roundabout to Tollbar Roundabout with the A16 road and the B1219 road to Waltham. Route The A1098 starts at Issacs hill roundabout then follows up the hill to the High Street now it follows the coast on Alexandra road until at a mini roundabout it turns right down Queens Pareade. It goes in a straight line for about a mile past Cleethorpes Academy toward Hewitts Circus where it meats the A1031 road now it goes straight on past Tesco to New Waltham Traffic Lights where it turns into New Waltham. North East Lincolnshire is a Unitary authority area with borough status in Lincolnshire, England. It borders the borough of North Lincolnshire and districts of West Lindsey and East Lindsey. A180 Road (England)
The A180 is a primary route in northern England, that runs from the M180 motorway to Cleethorpes. The road is a continuation of the M180, but built to lower specifications: it is mainly dual two-lane without hard shoulders. The road is (mostly grade separated) dual carriageway for from the M180 to Grimsby, and is a single carriageway road for between Grimsby and Cleethorpes beach. Route The A180 begins at junction 5 of the M180 in North Lincolnshire, where it picks up traffic from the motorway and the A15 road heading towards the ports of Grimsby and Immingham. The road crosses the border into North East Lincolnshire and has a junction with the A160 road to Immingham Dock. A46 Road
The A46 is a major A road in England. It starts east of Bath, Somerset and ends in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire, but it does not form a continuous route. Large portions of the old road have been lost, bypassed, or replaced by motorway development. Between Leicester and Lincoln the road follows the course of the Roman Fosse Way, but between Bath and Leicester, two cities also linked by the Fosse Way, it follows a more westerly course. History It opened in June 1974. The original (1923) route of the A46 was from Bath to Laceby, passing through Cheltenham, Broadway, Stratford-on-Avon, Coventry, Leicester, Newark and Lincoln. Cleethorpes Academy is a coeducational secondary school with academy status, based in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England. The school opened in September 2010, on the site previously occupied by the Lindsey School and Community Arts College. Cleethorpes Academy is owned and operated by Tollbar MAT, an educational trust formed in May 2012 as a group of schools in the Lincolnshire LEA. A1031 Road
The A1031 is a major secondary route in Lincolnshire that runs most of the North East coast of the county. It is 24.75 miles (39.8 km). It runs from Cleethorpes at Love Lane Corner Roundabout with the A46 road and ends at the A1104 road at Mablethorpe. History In 1922, the A1031 followed the coast, going from Grimsby to Cleethorpes, and ended on the A1030 (now A46). It was later expanded south, along the B1198 up to the A1098. It was then extended all the way to Mablethorpe during the 1950s. After the construction of the A180 in 1983, the northern section of the A1031 was reclassified, but it was not upgraded, making it the only unimproved section of A180.
