Kabeliai is a village in Varėna district municipality, in Alytus County, in southeastern Lithuania. According to the 2011 census, the village has a population of 168 people. According to the 1921 census, the village was inhabited by 258 people, among whom 240 were Roman Catholic, 4 Orthodox, and 14 Mosaic. At the same time, 8 inhabitants declared Polish nationality, 1 Belarusian, 14 Jewish and 235 Lithuanian. Marcinkonys Eldership
Marcinkonys Eldership ( lt, Marcinkonių seniūnija) is a Lithuanian eldership, located in the south western part of Varėna District Municipality. Geography Marcinkonys Eldership is mostly covered by the Dainava Forest and it is one of the most sparsely populated and largest Lithuanian elderships. It is in the Dainava Plain, undulated with massifs of continental dunes. The Čepkeliai Marsh is located at its southern part. Marcinkonys (Polish: ''Marcinkańce'') is a village in Varėna district, Lithuania, located 21 km. south-west of Varėna. Druskininkai (; pl, Druskieniki; be, Друскенiкi; yi, דרוזגעניק, translit=Druzgenik) is a spa town on the Nemunas River in southern Lithuania, close to the borders of Belarus and Poland. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time.
