Afrizal Azwan Shuhaimi is a Malaysian international lawn bowler. Bowls career Shuhaimi won the bronze medal in the triples with Mohd Amir Mohd Yusof and Azim Azami Ariffin at the 2008 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch. He has won four medals at the Asia Pacific Bowls Championships, which includes a gold medal in the fours with (Fairul Izwan Abd Muin, Mohd Amir Mohd Yusof and Azim Azami Ariffin), at the 2009 Championships held in his own country. Bowls, also known as lawn bowls or lawn bowling, is a sport in which the objective is to roll biased balls so that they stop close to a smaller ball called a "jack" or "kitty". Fairul Izwan Abdul Muin (born 3 November 1982) is a Malaysian lawn bowler. Bowls career World Championships Muin won a pairs bronze medal at the 2008 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2020 he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia. Commonwealth Games Muin competed in both the men's fours and the men's pairs events at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. World Bowls Championship
The World Bowls Championship is the premier world bowls competition between national bowls organisations. The premier indoor event is the World Indoor Bowls Championships listed separately and is organised by the World Bowls Tour. World Outdoor Championships First held in Australia in 1966, the World Outdoor Bowls Championships for men and women are held every four years. From 2008 the men's and women's events were held together. Qualifying national bowls organisations (usually countries) are represented by a team of five players, who play once as a single and a four, then again as a pair and a triple.
