Azucena, (June 16 1938 - November 27 2021) is a prominent labor lawyer, professor, management consultant, and author in the Philippines. Education Azucena obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from Ateneo Law School, a Master of Public Administration from the University of the Philippines, and has attended courses in the Master of Business Administration program of De La Salle Professional Schools. Human resource career Azucena was once an organizer and president of a labor union of teachers. Azucena María Arbeleche Perdomo (born 29 September 1970) is a Uruguayan economist and civil servant who serves as Minister of Economy and Finance of Uruguay since March 1, 2020 under president Luis Lacalle Pou, being the first woman to hold that office. Azucena Berrutti (born 1929) is a Uruguayan politician and lawyer. She was the National Defence Minister, appointed by the Uruguayan President Tabaré Vázquez, from March 2005 until March 2008. Azucena Grajo Uranza (27 January 1929 – 11 March 2012) is a Filipino novelist, short story writer, and playwright in the English language. Biography Uranza was born in Sorsogon, Sorsogon. She graduated from the Far Eastern University of the Philippines where she acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 1952 and then an MA in English in 1969. Apart from being a writer, Uranza was also an associate professor of Literature and the Humanities at Far Eastern University. As a playwright, she wrote for the theater, radio, and television. Azucena Villaflor (7 April 1924 – 10 December 1977) was an Argentine activist and one of the founders of the human rights association Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo, which looked for ''desaparecidos'' (victims of forced disappearance during Argentina's Dirty War). Life and family Villaflor was the daughter of a lower class family, and her mother, Emma Nitz, was only 15 years old when Azucena was born; her father, Florentino Villaflor, was 21 and worked in a wool factory. Villaflor's paternal family had a history of militant involvement in Peronism. Azucena started working at age 16 as a telephone secretary in a home appliances company. ''Il trovatore'' ('The Troubadour') is an opera in four acts by Giuseppe Verdi to an Italian libretto largely written by Salvadore Cammarano, based on the play ''El trovador'' (1836) by Antonio García Gutiérrez.
