Azimut (Alice Album)
''Azimut'' is the fifth studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Alice, released in 1982 on EMI Music. Singles released from the album include "Messaggio" (1982), "A cosa pensano" (1982) and "Chan-son Egocentrique" (1983), the latter a duet with Franco Battiato. The track "Messaggio" was co-written by Battiato under one of his pseudonyms, "Albert Kui". The closing track "Laura degli specchi" ("Laura With The Mirrors") was written by singer-songwriter Eugenio Finardi, whose "Le ragazze di Osaka" Alice would later cover on her 1989 album ''Il sole nella pioggia''. An alternate version of the track "La Mano" appears on the 1987 album '' Elisir''. Re-recorded versions of both "A cosa pensano" and "Chan-son Egocentrique" were included in the 2000 career retrospective ''Personal Jukebox''. Carla Bissi, known professionally as Alice or Alice Visconti (; born 26 September 1954), is an Italian singer-songwriter and pianist who began her career in the early 1970s. ''Falsi allarmi'' is the sixth studio album by the Italian singer-songwriter Alice, released in 1983 by EMI Music. The album includes the single releases "Il profumo del silenzio", "Carthago", "Solo un'dea" and "Notte a Roma". After the chart success of the duet "Zu Nah Am Feuer" with the German singer Stefan Waggershausen in early 1984, the album was re-released in West Germany, Switzerland and Austria in spring that year with the duet added as a bonus track, placed as track B5. The Benelux editions of the re-release instead included the English-language version "Close to the Fire". In 2003, "Zu Nah Am Feuer" was included on Waggershausen's compilation ''Duette & Balladen''. Eugenio Finardi
Eugenio Finardi (born July 16, 1952) is an Italian rock singer, songwriter, guitarist and keyboardist. Life Eugenio Finardi was born in Milan, Italy, on July 16, 1952, in a musical family: his father Enzo was an Italian music sound engineer and his mother Eloise an American opera singer; at age six Finardi made his first record, Palloncino Rosso Fuoco, a children song. Finardi became part of a thriving music scene in Milan in the late 1960s. Rooted in the blues, classic rock and roll and the hippy counter-culture, he was active in the left-wing youth movement of those years. In 1969 he formed his first rock band The Tiger. Soon he started playing with Alberto Camerini, a singer and guitarist born in Brazil, who a few years later would be instrumental in introducing American and British new wave and techno-pop to Italian pop music.
