Azhagaana Ponnuthan
''Azhagaana Ponnuthan'' is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language romance film written and directed by Thiru that stars Namitha and newcomer Kartheesh, with R. Parthiban playing an older version of Karthick's role. The film is an unofficial remake of the Italian film '' Malèna'', written by Luciano Vincenzoni and Giuseppe Tornatore. Namitha Vankawala is an Indian actress, model and politician who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu cinema along with a few films in Kannada and Malayalam. She serves as a state executive member of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer.
