Azat Hovhannisyan
Azat Hovhannisyan (born 15 August 1988) is an Armenian professional boxer who challenged for the WBC super-bantamweight title in 2018. As of August 2020, he is ranked as the world's sixth best active super-bantamweight by BoxRec, ninth by '' The Ring'' and tenth by the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board. Professional career Hovhannisyan made his professional debut on 23 April 2011, losing by unanimous decision (UD) over four rounds against Juan Reyes at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Super-bantamweight
Super bantamweight, also known as junior featherweight, is a weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . There were attempts by boxing promoters in the 1920s to establish this weight class, but few sanctioning organizations or state athletic commissions would recognize it. Jack Wolf won recognition as champion when he beat Joe Lynch at Madison Square Garden on September 21, 1922, but afterwards the weight division fell into disuse. The division was revived in the 1970s and the first title fight in 54 years in the division took place in 1976 when the World Boxing Council recognized Rigoberto Riasco as its champion when he defeated Waruinge Nakayama in eight rounds. Luke Campbell (born 27 September 1987) is a British former professional boxer who competed from 2013 to 2021. He challenged twice for lightweight world titles; the WBA and '' The Ring'' titles in 2017; and the WBA, WBO, ''The Ring'' and vacant WBC titles in 2019. The Alamodome is a 64,000-seat domed indoor multi-purpose stadium in San Antonio, Texas. It is located on the southeastern fringe of downtown San Antonio. The facility opened on May 15, 1993, having been constructed at a cost of $186 million. The multi-purpose facility was intended to increase the city's convention traffic and attract a professional football franchise. It also placated the San Antonio Spurs' demands for a larger arena. Rey Geovani Vargas Roldán (born November 25, 1990) is a Mexican professional boxer. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBC featherweight title since July 2022 and the WBC super bantamweight title from February 2017 to August 2020.
