Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram)
Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) (translation: Free Society Party; ASP) is an Indian registered unrecognised political party in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It was founded by Chandra Shekhar Azad History Chandra Shekhar Aazad officially announced the formation of his new political party, named Azad Samaj Party, on 15 March 2020. A total of 98 former leaders from the Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Indian National Congress, and Rashtriya Lok Dal joined the newly launched party. On 27 October, the Azad Samaj Party formed an alliance with the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. The Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (abbreviated as RLP) is an Indian political party in the state of Rajasthan. The party was founded by Hanuman Beniwal on the eve of the 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election. Hanuman Beniwal is president of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party. 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Election
Legislative Assembly elections were held in Rajasthan on 25 November 2023 to elect 199 of the 200 members of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. The results were declared on 3 December 2023. The election for the Karanpur seat was adjourned following the death of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh Kooner. The BJP wrested power by winning 115 seats, unseating the Indian National Congress from power and continuing the trend of governments changing every five years in the state. Rashtriya Lok Dal (abbreviated as RLD) (translation: National People's Party) is a political party in India founded by Chaudhary Ajit Singh. He was carrying on the political legacy of his father and former Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh and the original Lok Dal.
