Ayla Ågren
Ayla Ågren (born 23 July 1993 in Bærum) is a Norwegian-Swedish female racing driver. Representing Norway, she currently competes in the W Series. Biography Following a decade in karting across Europe and Scandinavia, Ågren moved to the United States to forge a professional career – first testing with the Skip Barber Racing School and then competing in their Summer Series, scoring four podiums and finishing eighth overall. In 2013, she moved into F1600, immediately proving competitive and winning the championship at her second attempt with a last-lap pass for victory in the final round at Watkins Glen. The success saw her move onto the Road to Indy schedule, promoted within Team Pelfrey. Whilst initially competitive, her first season in U.S. F2000 proved to be her only full campaign as the funding began to dry up. Bærum () is a municipality in the Greater Oslo Region in Norway that forms an affluent suburb of Oslo on the west coast of the city. 2021 W Series
The 2021 W Series was the second season of the W Series motor racing championship, replacing the 2020 season after it was cancelled due of the COVID-19 pandemic. The championship was exclusively open to female racing drivers as a Formula 3-level racing series in support of the 2021 Formula One World Championship. Jamie Chadwick entered the season as the defending W Series champion, having won the title in 2019. Bryan Herta Autosport is an American auto racing team that competes in the IndyCar Series and the Michelin Pilot Challenge. It is owned by former IndyCar driver Bryan Herta. The team won the 2011 Indianapolis 500 with driver Dan Wheldon. The 2013 F1600 Championship Series season was the third season of the F1600 Championship Series. Eighteen-year-old Jake Eidson from Littleton, Colorado won the championship driving for Cape Motorsports w/ Wayne Taylor Racing.
