Ayke ( kk, Әйке, ''Äike'') is a lake in the Ayteke Bi District, Aktobe Region, Kazakhstan. Geography The lake is located on the Kazakhstan–Russia border. Kulykol ( kk, Қулыкөл) is a lake in Kamysty District, Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan. The lake lies near the Kazakhstan–Russia border. An endorheic basin (; also spelled endoreic basin or endorreic basin) is a drainage basin that normally retains water and allows no outflow to other external bodies of water, such as rivers or oceans, but drainage converges instead into lakes or swamps, permanent or seasonal, that equilibrate through evaporation.
