Ayalaan
''Ayalaan'' () is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language science fiction film written and directed by R. Ravikumar, and produced by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under KJR Studios. It stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, Sharad Kelkar and Isha Koppikar. The film was announced in October 2016 and principal photography took place from June 2018 to January 2021, with few reshoots in November 2022. It was predominantly shot in Chennai. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman and cinematography handled by Nirav Shah while editing is done by Ruben. The film has over 4500 visual effects shots, the most for an Indian film. ''Ayalaan'' is scheduled to be released in January 2024, during Pongal. Sivakarthikeyan (born 17 February 1985), also referred to as SK, is an Indian actor, singer, film producer, lyricist, and television presenter, who works predominantly in Tamil films. He has also won a Tamil Nadu State Film Award, four Edison Awards, four SIIMA Awards and two other Vijay Awards. He produces films under his production company, Sivakarthikeyan Productions. Sharad Kelkar (born 7 October 1976) is an Indian film actor and voice artist from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He works primarly in Hindi films, Marathi films. Isha Koppikar (born 19 September 1976) is an Indian actress, model and politician who has mostly appeared in Hindi cinema. She has also acted in several Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Marathi films.
