Ayala Triangle
Ayala Avenue is a major thoroughfare in Makati, Philippines. It is one of the busiest roads in Metro Manila, crossing through the heart of the Makati Central Business District. Because of the many businesses located along the avenue, Ayala Avenue is nicknamed the " Wall Street of the Philippines" and dubbed in the 1970s and 1980s as the " Madison Avenue of the Philippines". It is also a major link between Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Metropolitan Avenue. Part of Ayala Avenue from Metropolitan Avenue to Gil Puyat Avenue, known as the Ayala Avenue Extension, also forms part of Circumferential Road 3. Zóbel De Ayala Family
The Zóbel de Ayala clan is a prominent Filipino family of Spanish and German descent who were the founders of Ayala y Compañía (now Ayala Corporation) and patrons of the Premio Zóbel literary awards. The clan is directly descended from Jacobo Zóbel y Zangroniz (1842–1896) and Trinidad de Ayala (1856–1918). Flickr ( ; ) is an American image hosting and video hosting service, as well as an online community, founded in Canada and headquartered in the United States. It was created by Ludicorp in 2004 and was a popular way for amateur and professional photographers to host high-resolution photos. It has changed ownership several times and has been owned by SmugMug since April 20, 2018. Flickr had a total of 112 million registered members and more than 3.5 million new images uploaded daily. On August 5, 2011, the site reported that it was hosting more than 6 billion images. Photos and videos can be accessed from Flickr without the need to register an account, but an account must be made to upload content to the site. PBCom Tower
The Philippine Bank of Communications Tower, more commonly known as PBCom Tower, is an office skyscraper ranked officially as the second tallest building in the Philippines. It was previously the tallest building in the Philippines, a title it held starting year 2000 until the completion of Federal Land Tower in early 2017. It has a total ground to architectural top height of , with 52 storeys including an 8-level radio tower. Paseo De Roxas
Paseo de Roxas is a prime commercial artery in the Makati Central Business District of Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a two- to six-lane avenue that cuts through the middle of the business district connecting San Lorenzo Village in the west to Bel-Air Village in the east. Starting at its western terminus at Antonio S. Arnaiz Avenue, Paseo de Roxas crosses into Legaspi Village passing by the Greenbelt mall complex, the Asian Institute of Management, as well as several low to mid rise office and residential towers. As it passes by Salcedo Village east of Ayala Avenue, the buildings give way to high rises on the north side and the entire length of the Ayala Triangle Gardens on the south. Past the intersection with Makati Avenue, Paseo de Roxas skirts the northern side of Urdaneta Village. One Ayala
One Ayala is an under construction mixed-use development developed by Ayala Land Inc. located at Ayala Center in Makati, across the Glorietta mall and occupying the former InterContinental Manila and EDSA Carpark sites. This development combines retail, hotel, and office facilities in a single contiguous space. Construction began in 2016 with the demolition of InterContinental Manila and EDSA Carpark and parts of the development opened in 2022. History One Ayala occupies the site where the InterContinental Manila hotel and EDSA Carpark once stood. The InterContinental hotel was planned to close around 2014, where plans to build a mixed-use development in the hotel's place was also publicized. Makati Shangri-La, Manila was a hotel located in Makati and one of the three hotels managed by Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in Metro Manila, Philippines. Opening on April 27, 1993, the hotel had 696 rooms and suites at the time of its temporary closure in 2021. History The Makati Shangri-La had its soft opening on April 27, 1993, with its grand launch held months later in August of the same year. Glorietta is a shopping mall complex in the Ayala Center, Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. The mall is owned by Ayala Land and operated through its subsidiary, the Ayala Malls. South Avenue is a short extension of Ayala Avenue north of Metropolitan Avenue in Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines. It forms the border between the Manila South Cemetery to the east and Barangay Santa Cruz to the west, running for in a southwest–northeast direction from its southern terminus at Metropolitan Avenue to its intersection with J.P. Rizal Avenue in Barangay Olympia. It forms part of Circumferential Road 3 of Metro Manila's arterial road system and is classified as an unnumbered, tertiary national road.
