Awn Shawkat Al-Khasawneh
Awn Shawkat Al-Khasawneh ( ar, عون الخصاونة) (born 22 February 1950) was the 39th Prime Minister of Jordan, serving from October 2011 to April 2012. He was also formerly a judge of the International Court of Justice. Early life and education Al-Khasawneh was born in Amman on 22 February 1950. The Order of the Star of Jordan (Wisam al-Kawkab al-Urduni) or The Order of Hussein ibn Ali (Wisam al-Hussein ibn Ali) is an award and military decoration of the sovereign state of Jordan and is awarded for military or civil merit. It was founded in honour of his father, by King Abdullah I on 22 June 1949. The Grand Cordon class was introduced by Hussein of Jordan on 23 September 1967.
