Avinash K. Dorle
Avinash K. Dorle (A. K. Dorle) (22 March 1935 – 14 November 2015) was an Indian scientist and professor of pharmaceutical sciences. He was formerly the head of the University Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nagpur University, India. He also served as the president of Maharashtra Pharmacy Council (1982–98), and Indian Pharmaceutical Association. He received an emeritus professorship from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)(1995–1997). He continues to serve as President of Central India Pharmacy Promotion and Research Association (CIPPARA) and as faculty at Department of Cosmetic Technology, Nagpur University. He was widely recognized and cited researcher in pharmaceutical sciences, especially in the areas of drug delivery and King of pharmacology. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is a statutory body, and a national-level council for technical education, under the Department of Higher Education. Rosin
Rosin (), also called colophony or Greek pitch ( la, links=no, pix graeca), is a solid form of resin obtained from pines and some other plants, mostly conifers, produced by heating fresh liquid resin to vaporize the volatile liquid terpene components. It is semi-transparent and varies in color from yellow to black. At room temperature rosin is brittle, but it melts at stove-top temperature. It chiefly consists of various resin acids, especially abietic acid. Zeta potential is the electrical potential at the slipping plane. This plane is the interface which separates mobile fluid from fluid that remains attached to the surface. Zeta potential is a scientific term for electrokinetic potential in colloidal dispersions. In the colloidal chemistry literature, it is usually denoted using the Greek letter zeta (ζ), hence ''ζ-potential''. The usual units are volts (V) or, more commonly, millivolts (mV). From a theoretical viewpoint, the zeta potential is the electric potential in the interfacial double layer (DL) at the location of the slipping plane relative to a point in the bulk fluid away from the interface.
