AvantGuard
AvantGuard is a modular military robot unmanned ground combat vehicle developed by G-NIUS Unmanned Ground Systems in Israel. History The AvantGuard has four wheel stations on either side of the vehicle powered by Kubota V3800DI-T four-cylinder 100hp turbodiesel engine. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 20km/h (12mph). G-NIUS is jointly owned by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Elbit Systems. It employs a set of modular payloads such as: Ground Penetrating Radar, Counter IED Jammer, Mini-Pop cooled thermal surveillance camera, Counter Human & Vehicle Detection Radar. Robattle
Robattle, stylized RoBattle (a portmanteau of robot and battle), is a modular military robot unmanned ground vehicle developed by Israel Aerospace Industries. It is designed to undertake certain tasks otherwise done by infantry soldiers, such as convoy protection, armed reconnaissance and others. It moves on six wheels, but these can be replaced with tracks. The robot is capable of traversing uneven terrain and going over some obstacles such as low walls. Robattle's modularity allows it to be fitted with robotic arms, radars and weapons, allowing it to engage in combat. As such, sensitive systems in the Robattle are redundant to allow it to operate after taking damage. The Robattle weighs 7 tons and has the capability of carrying up to 3 tons. Unmanned Ground Combat Vehicle
An unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) is a vehicle that operates while in contact with the ground and without an onboard human presence. UGVs can be used for many applications where it may be inconvenient, dangerous, or impossible to have a human operator present. Generally, the vehicle will have a set of sensors to observe the environment, and will either autonomously make decisions about its behavior or pass the information to a human operator at a different location who will control the vehicle through teleoperation. The term turbo-diesel, also written as turbodiesel and turbo diesel, refers to any diesel engine equipped with a turbocharger. As with other engine types, turbocharging a diesel engine can significantly increase its efficiency and power output, especially when used in combination with an intercooler. Guardium
Guardium, developed by G-NIUS, is an Israeli unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) used to combat and guard against invaders along Gaza's border. It was jointly developed by Israel Aerospace Industries and Elbit Industries. It can be used in either tele-operated or autonomous mode. Both modes do not require human interaction. The more unmanned ground vehicles patrolling the area the less human resources needed while guaranteeing deterrence. The joint program was terminated in April 2016, but the vehicle has remained in service with the Israel Defense Forces. Features Guardium is equipped with sufficient armor to protect itself in light fire attacks and against multiple enemies. The vehicle is 2.95 meters long, 1.8 meters wide and 2.2 meters high.
