Avalukku Ayiram Kangal
''Avalukku Aayiram Kangal'' () is a Tamil language film released in 1975. It starred Jayalalithaa in the lead role, opposite Ravichandran and Jaishankar. It is noted for being the last film in which Jayalalithaa shared screen-pace with both the heroes, who were regularly paired opposite her since 1966. The music was provided by T. K. Ramamoorthy. Mahendran (filmmaker)
J. Alexander (25 July 1939 – 2 April 2019), known professionally as Mahendran, was an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor, known for his work in the Tamil film industry. Mahendran is regarded as one of the greatest film makers of Tamil cinema and has influenced several filmmakers of the generations that followed. Mahendran entered the film industry as a screenwriter, writing scripts for nearly 26 films. He made an immediate impact with his first directional venture ''Mullum Malarum'' (1978). Mahendran's next film ''Uthiripookkal'', based on a short story written by Pudumaipithan, firmly established him as an important filmmaker in Tamil cinema. His ''Nenjathai Killathe'' won three National Film Awards including the award for the best regional film. Jaishankar
Jaishankar (12 July 1938 – 3 June 2000) was an Indian actor known for his work in Tamil cinema. He was a very popular lead actor in the 1960s and 70s. He was credited onscreen with title of ''Makkal Kalaingnar'' (people's artiste) or ''Makkal Thamizhan'' (people's Tamil) in most films starring him. He was also referred to as ''Thennakathu James Bond'' (South Indian James Bond) because of his roles in films such as ''Vallavan Oruvan'' and ''CID Shankar''. Biography Jaishankar, whose real name was Shankar hailed from Kumbakonam, but was born in Thirunelveli to parents Subramaniyan Iyer who was the Judge of Thirunelveli court and Yogambal on 12 July 1938. Ravichandran (30 March 1942 – 25 July 2011) was a Malaysian Indian actor who played lead hero roles in Tamil films from 1964 to 1979. He has also acted in supporting roles from 1986, and directed a few films. He was given the title of "Kalaingnar Thilagham" in many of the on-screen credits of films starring him in the lead role. He was also called "Puratchi Kalaignar" (Refer: Anandha Bairavi Tamil Movie Title Scene).
