Avalanche (Quadron Album)
''Avalanche'' is the second studio album by Danish soul pop duo Quadron. It was released on 31 May 2013 through Vested in Culture and Epic Records. Upon its release, ''Avalanche'' received positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 72, which indicates "generally favorable reviews", based on nine reviews. Despite its positive reception, the album was a relative commercial failure, only peaking at number 115 on the ''Billboard'' 200 in the United States. In the group's native Denmark the album achieved greater commercial success, spending 12 weeks in the top 10 of the charts and was eventually certified gold for 10,000 copies sold. Quadron
Quadron is a Los Angeles-based Danish duo consisting of singer Coco O. and musician/producer Robin Hannibal. The group considers their genre "electronic soul music". The self-titled debut album ''Quadron'' was released in late July 2009. '' Paste Magazine'' named Quadron "Best of What's Next" in August 2010, and ''New York'' Magazine named Quadron's self-titled album number 7 in their top 10 best albums of the year. Hitlisten, also known as Tracklisten, is a Danish top 40 record chart that is updated every Thursday midnight on the website hitlisten.nu. The weekly Danish singles chart Track Top-40 combines the 40 best-selling tracks from legal music downloads and the sales of music singles on either CD or vinyl. Weighted Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics.
