Australian National Judo Championships
The Australian National Judo Championships are the highest level of judo competition in Australia. The championships are held annually by Judo Federation of Australia, Judo Australia, and qualified domestic and overseas judoka compete in their respective categories as representatives of their home states or countries. Both the women's and men's championships began in 1956, with the championships being held in Wollongong, New South Wales between 2012 and 2015. Weight classes There have been a number of changes to the weight divisions over the life of the championships. There are currently 8 weight classes for each gender, based on the official International Judo Federation weight divisions. Judo

Morgan Endicott-Davies
Morgan Martin Endicott-Davies (born 31 January 1974) is an Australian Olympic judo competitor. He is a multiple-time Australian and New Zealand national judo champion and international medallist in judo. He is widely known for his uchi mata, taiotoshi, and juji gatame techniques. Early years Endicott-Davies' mother is Japanese (from Kyoto) and his father, Ivor Endicott-Davies, came from the small town of Balclutha in New Zealand's South Island. His father received his 6th dan in judo in 2007. In 1993—at the age of 19—Endicott-Davies travelled from Australia to Japan with his family and stayed there for one year. Soon after arriving in Japan, he took up judo, learning at Waseda University Judo Club. He received his black belt after twelve months. During his time in Japan, he also learned Japanese. Joshua Katz (born on 29 December 1997) is an Australian judoka. Katz competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 60 kg event and was eliminated in the second round by Diyorbek Urozboev. Steven Brown (judoka)
Steven Brown (born 4 April 1986) is an Australian judoka who represented Australia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. South Australia's first ever Judo Olympian was defeated by Algeria's Mounir Benamadi in the u/66 kg class. Brown is a former u/66 kg Australian National Judo Championships, Australian Champion and multiple international medalist. Brown represented Australia at the World Judo Championships in Paris (2011) and Rio de Janeiro (2013), he was also selected for Tokyo (2010), and Chelyabinsk (2014) but did not compete. In 2014 Brown represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland - the first South Australian to do so. At the end of this event, Brown announced his retirement from competitive Judo. He is now the head coach of the South Australian Judo Academy. Jake Andrewartha, (born 24 December 1989 in Claremont, Australia) is an Australian judoka. He competed at the 2012 London Olympics and the 2014 Commonwealth Games in the +100 kg event. Junior career Jake Andrewartha started judo when he was 9 years old and made it into Australian team in 2004 at the age of 14. He would go on to compete at his first Junior World Championships in 2006, which would then led to his success in the senior division. Senior career Andrewartha would eventually rise to the No.1 ranking in Australia by then end of 2008 at the age of 18, a position that he has held ever since. Matthew D'Aquino (born 26 June 1985 in Canberra) is an Australian judoka, who competed in the extra-lightweight category. He is a 4th Degree Judo Black belt, BJJ black belt under Felipe Grez, two-time Australian judo champion, a multiple-time Oceanian champion for his respective division, and a former member of Marist Judo Club under his personal coach Tom Hill, who competed for the men's lightweight division at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and eventually won the gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England.
