2021 Ladies European Tour
The 2021 Ladies European Tour was a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world. The tournaments were sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). The season was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic with many tournaments either being postponed or cancelled. Among the cancellations was the Australian Swing, the tour's season opening. Schedule The table below shows the 2021 schedule. The season featured a month-long European Swing of the LPGA Tour, starting with the Evian Championship in late July. It also saw the introduction of the Aramco Team Series, four tournaments carrying a $1 million total prize fund each held in London, Sotogrande and New York, concluding in Saudi Arabia in November. Céline Boutier
Céline Boutier (born 10 November 1993) is a French professional golfer. Amateur career Boutier won several international amateur events including the 2012 European Ladies Amateur Championship and the 2015 British Ladies Amateur. She played college golf at Duke University from 2012 to 2016, winning four events. She helped the team to an NCAA Golf Championship in 2014. In 2014, she was the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WCGA) Player of the Year and won the Honda Sports Award for golf. In her junior year, Boutier began working with Cameron McCormick, a swing coach known for his work with the PGA Tour's Jordan Spieth. The WPGA Tour of Australasia, formerly known as the ALPG Tour, is a professional golf tour for women which is based in Australia. WPGA stands for Women's Professional Golfers' Association. The tour was founded as the Ladies Professional Golf Association of Australia (LPGAA) in 1972 by Alan Gillott, who also later on founded ''The Golfer'' newspaper, a free publication provided to golfers and golf clubs, Australia-wide. The LPGAA switched to ALPG Tour in 1991. The first events featured twelve competitors, and the early years were a struggle. Hannah Green (golfer)
Hannah Green (born 20 December 1996) is an Australian professional golfer and winner of the 2019 Women's PGA Championship. Early life Green was born in Perth, Western Australia. Education Green attended Como Secondary College and was in the golf academy at the school. Career Green turned professional in 2016. She plays on the LPGA Tour and ALPG Tour. Green has two pro-am wins on the ALPG Tour. She played on the Symetra Tour in 2017, winning three times, finishing second on the money list and won the Symetra Tour Rookie of the Year, Rookie of the Year award. She earned her 2018 LPGA Tour card as a result. Nuria Iturrioz (born 16 December 1995) is a Spanish professional golfer on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and LPGA Tour. She has four LET career wins, at the 2016 and 2019 Lalla Meryem Cup, 2019 Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic and the 2023 La Sella Open. Amateur career Iturrioz was born in Palma de Mallorca and had a successful amateur career. Marianne Skarpnord (born 11 February 1986) is a Norwegian professional golfer playing on the Ladies European Tour. Amateur career As a junior, Skarpnord was considered one of the biggest talents in Norwegian golf. In 2003, she won the Girls Amateur Championship, defeating Beatriz Recari of Spain in the final match. She also won the Junior Solheim Cup with Europe the same year.
