Austnesfjorden
Austnesfjorden is a fjord in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The long fjord cuts the island of Austvågøya nearly in half. On the south end, the fjord joins the Vestfjorden, just north of the town of Svolvær. The European route E10 highway runs along the western shoreline of the fjord for its entire length. The village of Laupstad lies at the innermost part of the fjord. The village of Liland and the mountain Higravstindan both lie on the eastern shore and the Sildpollneset peninsula lies on the western shore. Vågan ( sme, Vuogát) is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Lofoten. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Svolvær. Litlmolla is an uninhabited island in Vågan Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The island lies east of the town of Svolvær in the Vestfjorden. The island is located in the Lofoten archipelago, south of the large island of Austvågøya, southwest of the island of Stormolla, and northeast of the small island of Skrova. Vestfjorden
Vestfjorden is a long fjord or oceanic sea in Nordland county, Norway. The name literally means "the west fjord", although it is called a fjord, it could best be described as a firth or an open bight of sea. The "fjord" lies between the Lofoten archipelago and the Salten district of mainland Norway. The term fjord (from the old Norse ''fjördr'' meaning firth or inlet) is used more generally for bodies of water in the western Scandinavian languages than the more narrow usage assigned in English.
