Austin Ramirez
Austin Ramirez (born June 30, 1978) is the president and CEO of HUSCO International. He replaced his father, Agustin Ramirez, who was CEO for 25 years. Ramirez graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Systems engineering and spent two years working as a consultant at the San Francisco office of McKinsey and Company, a global management consulting firm. Ramirez worked for a year as a project manager at Husco, then went to graduate school at Stanford Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, California as a Goldman Sachs Fellow and graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar. Ramirez became CEO of Husco's automotive business in 2008. Previously Ramirez was a freestyle swimming, freestyle swimmer from United States. He represented his native country at the 1998 World Aquatics Championships in Perth, Western Australia, competing in two individual events (5 km). Freestyle Swimming
Freestyle is a category of swimming competition, defined by the rules of the International Swimming Federation (FINA), in which competitors are subject to a few limited restrictions on their swimming stroke. Freestyle races are the most common of all swimming competitions, with distances beginning with 50 meters (50 yards) and reaching 1500 meters (1650 yards), also known as the mile. The term 'freestyle stroke' is sometimes used as a synonym for 'front crawl', as front crawl is the fastest surface swimming stroke. It is now the most common stroke used in freestyle competitions. YPO (formerly Young Presidents' Organization) is an American-based worldwide leadership community of chief executives with approximately 29,000 members in more than 130 countries, according to the organization's 2019 YPO international fact sheet. History YPO was founded in 1950 in Rochester, New York, by manufacturer Ray Hickok, who was 27 years old when he became the head of his family's Rochester-based Hickok Belt, a 300-employee company.
