Austin Price
Austin Price (born September 16, 1995) is an American basketball player for Heroes Den Bosch of the BNXT League. Early life Price was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, moved to Detroit when he was a sophomore in high school, and his hometown is Farmington Hills, Michigan. He is 6-4, 185 pounds (193cm, 83kg). He attended high school at Detroit Country Day (2013) in Michigan. Price played for the high school basketball team as a combo guard and team captain. As a junior, Price averaged 16 points, five assists, and two steals per game. As a senior he was team captain. Academically, he had a 3.65 GPA. College Price attended Lehigh University (2017), majoring in Finance. He was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He played basketball for the Lehigh Mountain Hawks basketball team in the Patriot League. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Above all, the point guard must understand and accept their coach's game plan; in this way, the position can be compared to a quarterback in American football. Combo Guard
A combo guard is a basketball player who combines the attributes of a point guard (1) and shooting guard (2), but does not necessarily fit the standard description of either position. In men's basketball, such guards are usually within the 6' 3" (1.91 m) and 6' 5" (1.96 m) height range. Most combo guards tend to be between point and shooting guards in terms of height, although some possess the height of a point or shooting guard specifically which affects how each plays. Combo guards became prominent in the 1990s, when players such as Allen Iverson and Penny Hardaway were switched between playing point guard and shooting guard, depending on offensive and defensive situations. Ironi Ness Ziona B.C. (or spelled as Ironi Nes Ziona B.C.) is a professional basketball club based in Ness Ziona, Israel. The Pro Basketball League (PBL), was the highest tier level professional basketball league in Belgium for clubs. In 2021, the league was succeeded by the Belgian-Dutch BNXT League.
