The Austin Crows is a United States Australian Football League team, based in Austin, Texas, United States. It was founded in 2002. They play in the Mid American Australian Football League. The Crows are a mix of Australians, Americans and many other nationalities as well as a wide range of ages and backgrounds. Mid American Australian Football League
The MAAFL was a division of the United States Australian Football League and an Australian rules football competition based in the United States. The league formed 1996 when clubs from Cincinnati and Louisville played the first ever game of Aussie Rules in the United States. 2015 USAFL National Championships
The 2015 USAFL National Championships was the 19th instalment of the premier United States annual Australian rules football club tournament. The tournament was held in Austin, Texas, for the third time, from 17 October to 18 October. It was the first edition of the tournament with two women's divisions. The Austin Crows won the Division 1 Men's Title defeating the Orange County Bombers. The Denver Bulldogs won the Division 1 Women's Title finishing first in a four-game round robin. 2016 USAFL National Championships
The 2016 USAFL National Championships were the 20th installment of the premier United States annual Australian rules football club tournament. The tournament as held at the Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, on October 15–16. The tournament saw a total of 41 teams representing 34 USAFL clubs and three from AFL Canada. Recap The Austin Crows picked up their second consecutive Men's Division 1 premiership by sweeping the group stage and then defeating the Golden Gate Roos 39-13 in the Grand Final. The Roos' appearance in the Final was their first at the D1 level since 1999. Nolan Cox, brother of Collingwood Football Club player Mason Cox, was named most consistent for the tournament in helping the Crows to their third D1 flag in three years. United States Australian Football League
The United States Australian Football League (USAFL) is the governing body for Australian rules football in the United States. It was conceived in 1996 and organized in 1997. It is based in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. As of 2011, there were over 1,000 registered USAFL players. There are 50 member clubs, of which 48 have men's teams (all except North Star Blue Ox and the Centennial Tigers) and 27 have women's teams. Most of the football clubs in the United States have a traditional 18-a-side team for representative purposes and multiple 9-a-side teams running in a local league. Dallas Dingoes
The Dallas Dingoes are an Australian Rules Football team based in Dallas, Texas, United States. Formed in 1997 as the Dallas Outlaws, the team would play under that moniker until 2000. In that year the team changed its name to the Dallas Magpies after forming an alliance with the Collingwood Magpies of the Australian Football League (AFL). In 2018, a few years after the end of the partnership with the Collingwood Magpies, the club re-branded as the Dallas Dingoes. In 2021 the Dingoes took 22 players to Nationals in Austin, Texas and didn't win a game. USAFL National Championships
The USAFL National Championships is a tournament for Australian rules football in the United States. Since 1997, the National Championships have been a large event featuring teams from the United States and Canada in four men's divisions and two women's divisions. The competition is organized and run by the United States Australian Football League. History The first championships were held in Cincinnati in 1997, and they were won by the host Cincinnati Dockers. The Queen City would host the first three Nationals, with the 1998 edition welcoming 10 teams. The 2017 edition saw the largest turnout in the history of the carnival; 53 teams representing 42 clubs across North America took part, including a record 13 women's teams representing 27 USAFL and AFL Canada clubs.
