Ausa is one of an Assembly Constituency in Latur (Lok Sabha constituency), Latur. After the delimitation exercise, the Ausa Assembly Constituency is made of some villages in Ausa taluk and some villages in Nilanga taluk. Remaining villages of Ausa taluka are attached to Latur Rural Assembly Constituey. Further the Ausa constituency is partially attached to Latur Lok Sabha and partially to Osmanabad Lok Sabha constituency. In Ausa Assembly constituency traditionally Indian National Congress party is the strongest party. 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Election
The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 21 October 2019 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. After a 61.4% turnout in the election, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (SHS) won a majority. Following differences over the government formation, the alliance was dissolved, precipitating a political crisis. Shiv Sena ( IAST: ''Śiva Sēnā'') () was a right-wing to far-right Marathi regionalist and Hindu ultranationalist political party in India founded in 1966 by cartoonist Bal Thackeray. Originally emerging from nativist movements in Bombay (present-day Mumbai), the party agitated for preferential treatment for the Marathi people over migrants from other parts of India. Its election symbol for Maharashtra was the ''Bow and Arrow''. Although the party's primary base always remained in Maharashtra, it tried to expand to a pan-Indian base.
