Aurieyall Scott (born May 18, 1992) is an American sprinter who specializes in the 60 and 100 meter dash (indoor) and 100, 200, and 400 meter dash (outdoor). High school career For her freshman and sophomore year Scott competed for Groves High School in Garden City, Georgia, where she was twice named the Savannah Morning News track and field athlete of the year. For her junior and senior years, she competed for national power Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, Maryland. College career With the University of Central Florida track team Scott won the school's first NCAA title in any sport, taking the 60 meter title at the 2013 NCAA Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship with a time of 7.13 seconds while leading her team to a 5th-place finish. Scott graduated in 2014. International career Scott won double gold at the 2012 NACAC Under-23 Championships in Athletics in the 100 meter dash and 4x100 relay. Universiade
The Universiade is an international multi-sport event, organized for university athletes by the International University Sports Federation (FISU). The name is a portmanteau of the words "University" and "Olympiad". The Universiade is referred to in English as the World University Games or World Student Games; however, this latter term can also refer to competitions for sub-University grades students. In July 2020 as part of a new branding system by the FISU, it was stated that the Universiade will be officially branded as the FISU World University Games. The University of Central Florida (UCF) is a public research university whose main campus is in unincorporated Orange County, Florida. UCF also has nine smaller regional campuses throughout central Florida. It is part of the State University System of Florida.
