Aurel Pantea
Aurel Pantea (; born 10 March 1952) is a Romanian poet and literary critic. Born in Chețani, Mureș County into a family of peasants, Pantea attended the Faculty of Letters of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj, graduating in 1976. During the university years he collaborated with the magazine ''Equinox''. After graduation, he taught at Borșa and Alba Iulia. Since 1989 he is the director of the magazine ''Vatra'', and since 1990 he is the director of the magazine ''Discobolul''. He is a member of the Writers' Union of Romania The Writers' Union of Romania (), founded in March 1949, is a professional association of writers in Romania. Mureș County
Mureș County (, ro, Județul Mures, hu, Maros megye) is a county ('' județ'') of Romania, in the historical region of Transylvania, with the administrative centre in Târgu Mureș. The county was established in 1968, after the administrative reorganization that re-introduced the historical ''judeţ'' (county) system, still used today. This reform eliminated the previous Mureș-Magyar Autonomous Region, which had been created in 1952 within the People's Republic of Romania. Mureș County has a vibrant multicultural fabric that includes Hungarian-speaking Székelys and Transylvanian Saxons, with a rich heritage of fortified churches and towns. The Babeș-Bolyai University ( ro, Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai , hu, Babeș-Bolyai Tudományegyetem, commonly known as UBB) is a public research university located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Borșa
Borșa (; Hungarian: ''Borsa'', German: ''Borscha'', yi, בורשא ''Borsha'') is a town in eastern Maramureș County, Maramureș, Romania, in the valley of the river Vișeu and near the Prislop Pass. Linking Transylvania to Bukovina, Prislop Pass is surrounded by the Rodna and Maramureș Mountains, both ranges of the Carpathians. The highest peak in the region is Pietrosul Rodnei — 2,303 meters. The Rodna National Park (which has an area of 463 km²) can be accessed from Borșa. The town is home to a wooden church, built in 1718. It administers one village, Băile Borșa. Alba Iulia (; german: Karlsburg or ''Carlsburg'', formerly ''Weißenburg''; hu, Gyulafehérvár; la, Apulum) is a city that serves as the seat of Alba County in the west-central part of Romania.
