Auflösen
"Auflösen" (''Break up'') is a song by Die Toten Hosen, namely a duet between Campino and Birgit Minichmayr. It was the third single from the album ''In aller Stille''. It reached no.38 in Germany and no.36 in Austria. This is also the first duet for the band. It differs from the others songs on the album greatly because of the extreme tenderness of it, while most of the album is quite loud. The song describes, how shallow a physical relationship between a man and a woman is, as it doesn't really make a difference between them, if they would break up. The song also features Raphael Zweifel on cello and Hans Steingen on piano, although in the video it is played by Esther Kim, who has supported Die Toten Hosen in concerts and also played the piano, when the band and Minichmayr performed the song in the Echo awards ceremony of 2009. "Alles was war" (''All that was'') is a song by Die Toten Hosen. It is the second single and the eighth track from the album ''In aller Stille''. The release was initially planned for February 27, 2009, but moved to February 20. This song was chosen for the second single, because it became clear on the ''machmalauter''-tour, that this is one of the fan favourites. The song is a generally a hymn about nostalgia and how one should not regret what has been done and what has not been. It peaked at #9 at the German Single Charts. Die Toten Hosen (literally "The Dead Trousers", figuratively "The Deadbeats") is a German punk rock band from Düsseldorf. History The current members of Die Toten Hosen are Campino (Andreas Frege), Kuddel (Andreas von Holst), Vom (Stephen Ritchie), Andi (Andreas Meurer) and Breiti (Michael Breitkopf). All members except one are German, though Campino's mother, Jenny, was English. The drummer Vom comes from England. He joined in 1999, after previous drummer Wölli sustained injuries in a car crash. Wölli had played from 1985 to 1999 and was an honorary member of the band until his death in 2016. The drummer until 1985 was Trini Trimpop, who became the band's manager when Wölli joined. In popular music, a break is an instrumental or percussion section during a song derived from or related to stop-time – being a "break" from the main parts of the song or piece.
