Audiolith Records is a German Independent record label from Bahrenfeld, Hamburg, which publishes mainly Electronic music and Indie rock. While the bands under the label have varied musical styles, the label's main focus is on Electropunk, where it has developed significant influence on the German music scene. History Audiolith Records was founded in 2003 by Lars Lewerenz, who had worked for Dim Mak Records before and had been an active member of the band ''Dos Stilettos''. Mister X (band)
Mister X are a Belarusian street punk band formed in Grodno, West Belarus, in 2003 by Igor Bancer and Boris of Oi! Bombers. They openly identify as SHARP and belong to the small, but healthy and growing anti-racist skinhead scene in Belarus. They are well-known on the underground punk scene in Poland, where they have numerous times been referred to as "the most well-known Belarusian punk rock band" and "the flagship of Belarusian street punk", though they frequently tour other parts of Eastern Europe as well (Russia, Latvia, and Lithuania, among other countries) and have played in Western Europe too. Although most of their work is in Russian, they are also known for singing in Polish, Belarusian, and occasionally English – almost all of their digitally released albums are annotated in Russian, Polish, and English. Messed Up
Messed Up are a Belarusian punk rock band from Grodno, West Belarus. Formed in 2015, they have been referred to as the first all-female punk band in Belarus and compared to the riot grrrl movement. Their lyrical themes are mostly concerned with "how a post-Soviet society favours an ordinary person, and how people in positions of power oppress those who choose to live differently". Due to their country's authoritarian government, restriction of personal and political freedoms, as well as its patriarchal social norms, Messed Up have oftentimes had to organise concerts practically illegally and thus have arguably found greater success playing abroad in the neighbouring countries of Poland and Lithuania, where they have frequently performed at numerous points throughout the band's history. Kraftklub are a German band from Chemnitz. Their music combines rock music, rock / indie rock, indie and Sprechgesang with German lyrics and is generally considered to be a mixture of rap and indie rock, indie. History Founding and early years (2009–2011) The band members first met at school and founded the band at the end of 2009. At the Splash! (festival), Splash Festival 2009, rapper Bernd Bass (Felix Brummer) performed together with the rock band ''Neon Blocks'' for the first time. At the end of 2009, they founded the band Kraftklub and started recording their first studio album. On 13 February 2010, they released their first EP, titled ''Adonis Maximus'' at a record release party in the Chemnitz club Atomino. Innaway
Innaway was an American psychedelic rock band from Southern California formed in 2001. In 2002, their demo was pressed in limited quantities by German label Audiolith Records but there wasn't a US release until 2005 when Some Records released a self-titled album by the band. Critical reviews were positive for the debut with music critic John Brady selecting it as one of the top three records of 200for NPR, NPR's Day to Day show. The band then spent some time on the road supporting the album touring with likes of Echo & the Bunnymen and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. In 2007 they released a 12" E.P. on Prime Directive Records. In 2011, they released their follow-up LP on their own via digital distribution on iTunes called Innaway 2. Both LP's were mixed at Soma Electronic Music Studios by John McEntire.
