Auburn–LSU Football Rivalry
The Auburn–LSU football rivalry, also known as the Tiger Bowl, is an American college football college rivalry, rivalry between the Auburn Tigers football, Auburn Tigers and the LSU Tigers football, LSU Tigers. Both universities have been members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) since December 1932, but the rivalry dates back to 1901. Auburn and LSU have played every year since the SEC instituted divisional play in 1992. The LSU and Auburn football teams have met 58 times, with LSU holding the all-time lead 33–24–1. This annual matchup is known for wild endings, unusual events, and strong hostility. This rivalry game has been the source of several legendary SEC football games. Auburn Tigers Football
The Auburn Tigers football program represents Auburn University in the sport of American college football. Auburn competes in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Auburn officially began competing in intercollegiate football in 1892. The Tigers joined the SEC in 1932 as one of the inaugural members of the conference. They began competing in the West Division when the conference divided in 1992, doing so until the SEC eliminated divisions in 2024. Bryan Dale Harsin (born November 1, 1976) is an American college football coach. He is the offensive coordinator at California. He was the head coach for the Auburn Tigers from 2021–2022. Prior to coaching at Auburn, he coached the Boise State University Broncos from the 2014 season through the 2020 season where he posted a 69–19 overall record. He began his head coaching career at Arkansas State University for the 2013 season. Harsin was the co-offensive coordinator at the University of Texas for two seasons. Leslie Edwin Miles (born November 10, 1953) is a former American football coach. He most recently served as the head coach at Kansas. Daniel Patrick Etling (born July 22, 1994) is an American professional football quarterback for the Michigan Panthers of the United Football League (UFL).
