Aubrey Wisberg
Aubrey Lionel Wisberg (October 20, 1909 – March 14, 1990) was a British-American filmmaker. Biography Born in London, Wisberg emigrated to the United States in 1921, attended New York University and Columbia University, and married Barbara Duberstein. Wisberg made his career as a screenwriter, director, and producer with credits in more than 40 films including '' The Big Fix'', ''The Man from Planet X'', '' Hercules in New York'', ''The Neanderthal Man'', ''Captive Women'', ''Port Sinister'' and ''Captain Kidd and the Slave Girl''. Three of his early screenplays were World War II films: ''Counter-Espionage'' and '' Submarine Raider'' in 1942 and ''They Came to Blow Up America'' in 1943. Wisberg's 1945 film ''The Horn Blows at Midnight'' starred the comedian Jack Benny. A bracket is either of two tall fore- or back-facing punctuation marks commonly used to isolate a segment of text or data from its surroundings. ''Son of Sinbad'' is a 1955 American adventure film directed by Ted Tetzlaff. It takes place in the Middle East and consists of a wide variety of characters, including over 127 women. The film was shot in 1953 and planned to be released in 3D. ''Heaven Only Knows'' is a 1947 American Western fantasy film directed by Albert S. Rogell and starring Robert Cummings, Brian Donlevy and Marjorie Reynolds. Jack Benny (born Benjamin Kubelsky, February 14, 1894 – December 26, 1974) was an American entertainer who evolved from a modest success playing violin on the vaudeville circuit to one of the leading entertainers of the twentieth century with a highly popular comedic career in radio, television, and film.
