Vanessa Chantal Paradis (; born 22 December 1972) is a French singer, model, and actress. Paradis became a child star at the age of 14 with the international success of her single "Joe le taxi" (1987). Vanessa Paradis (album)
''Vanessa Paradis'' is the third studio album and English-language debut by French singer Vanessa Paradis, released on 21 September 1992 by Remark Records. It contains the singles "Be My Baby" and "Sunday Mondays". Background and writing Lenny Kravitz, who was dating Paradis at the time, produced and co-wrote the album. Some editions of the album contain the extra track "Gotta Have It", which is a tribute to Kravitz and is co-written by Kravitz himself. This was omitted on the US release of the album. The album is noted for being the first time Paradis took creative control over her music. It is also noted for being innovative in its use of instruments, and for its replication of the 1960s soundscape on virtually every song. Tandem (song)
"Tandem" is a 1990 song recorded by French singer Vanessa Paradis. Written by Serge Gainsbourg with a music composed by Franck Langolff, this rock song was released in May 1990 as the first single from Paradis' second album ''Variations sur le même t'aime'', on which it is the seventh track. In France and the Netherlands, it was a top 30 hit and became one of Paradis' most popular songs. Music video Directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino, the music video for "Tandem" was shot in two days. It shows Paradis and several dancers are dressed with Lionel Cros' creations, and the topless woman who plays guitar is Emma Sjöberg. The Zombies
The Zombies are an English rock band formed in the early 1960s in St Albans and led by keyboardist and vocalist Rod Argent and vocalist Colin Blunstone. Étienne Roda-Gil (1 August 1941 in Septfonds, Tarn-et-Garonne, France – 31 May 2004 in Paris) was a songwriter and screenwriter. He was an anarchist and an anarcho-syndicalist. Biography Roda-Gil was born in the Septfonds internment camp to refugees who had fled Francoism at the end of the Spanish Civil War. His father, Antonio Roda Vallès, had been a militant with the CNT and a member of the Durruti column.
