The National Board of Justice (Spanish: ''Junta Nacional de Justicia''), formerly the National Council of the Magistrature, is an autonomous constitutional institution that is part of the Republic of Peru. Its primary function is to appoint and ratify all judges and prosecutors in the Peruvian justice system as well as to remove those that fail to fulfill their responsibilities. Zoraida Ávalos Rivera (born 14 June 1957) is a Peruvian jurist who served as the country's from 8 January 2019 to 30 March 2022. Biography Zoraida Ávalos was born in Callao on 14 June 1957.
