Attack Athletics
Attack Athletics is a training center that includes four NBA regulation courts, and a 1,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Chicago, Illinois. It is owned by Tim Grover. The facility was designed by Cornerstone Architects Ltd. in Itasca, Illinois. Attack Athletics serves as the off-season training facility to NBA players, including Dwyane Wade, Devin Harris, Gilbert Arenas, Will Bynum, Juwan Howard, Michael Finley, Jermaine O'Neal, and many others. Former Attack Athletics' clients include Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Charles Barkley, and Hakeem Olajuwon. Tim Grover
Tim Singh Grover (born November 1, 1964) is a businessman, motivational speaker, personal trainer, and owner of Attack Athletics. Grover is recognized as the trainer to some of the most elite, iconic athletes in the world, including the late Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade and Michael Jordan. Early life Tim's parents are from India. They moved to London once they were married. Tim and his brother were born in London. Tim's mother was a hospital nurse, and she decided to work in the United States because she wanted a better life for their children. She lived alone in Chicago for a year until they had enough money for the rest of the family to join her. Tim moved to Chicago when he was four years old. His father took up a job in her hospital's basement dealing with corpses. Chicago Throwbacks
The Chicago Throwbacks were a team of the Premier Basketball League that begin play in fall 2007. Their home arena was Attack Athletics on Chicago's West Side. They were originally part of the American Basketball Association The American Basketball Association (ABA) was a major men's professional basketball league from 1967 to 1976. The ABA ceased to exist with the ABA–NBA merger, American Basketball Association–National Basketball Association merger in 1976, ... for the first part of the 2007–08 season, playing alongside their intra-city rivals the Cicero Cometas USA and the South Chi-Land Infernos. When the Infernos never began play and the Cometas folded, the Throwbacks were left to play several games against exhibition teams that happened to count in the standings. A second chance at stability came when the Chicago Aztecas of the PBL shut down and the PBL needed a replacement team.
