Unión Atlético Trujillo was a Venezuelan football team. It was based in Valera, and played their home games at the Estadio Luis Loreto Lira. History Founded as Trujillanos FC B (Trujillanos FC's reserve team), it was renamed Unión Atlético Trujillo in 2007. After the expansion of Primera and Segunda División Venezolana, it achieved promotion in their first year. In the end of 2008, the team was crowned champions of 2008 Torneo Apertura, achieving a first-ever promotion to the main category. However, in June 2009, prior to the 2009–10 season, the club was dissolved to become a part of Real Esppor Deportivo La Guaira (formerly known as Real Esppor) is a professional football club promoted to the Venezuelan league in 2009, based in La Guaira but playing its home games in Caracas at the Estadio Olímpico de la UCV. Estadio José Alberto Pérez (formerly known as ''Estadio Luis Loreto Lira'') is a multi-use stadium in Valera, Venezuela. Valera is a city in Trujillo State in Venezuela, situated between the rivers Momboy and Motatán. The mayor is José Karkom, who has had that post since 2013. Trujillanos FC
Trujillanos Fútbol Club is a Venezuelan football team playing at the top level, the Primera División Venezolana. It is based in Valera. Their home stadium is Estadio Luis Loreto Lira.
