Atle Maurud
Atle Maurud (born 15 October 1970) is a retired Norwegian football striker. He hails from Gjøvik, and played for Gjøvik SK and SK Gjøvik-Lyn before joining Hamarkameratene ahead of the 1994 season. He only played two Norwegian Premier League games in 1994, but then established himself in the first team. In the 1997 season he played for SFK Lyn. He played regularly, but the team was relegated and he returned to Hamarkameratene. The team experienced a series of relegations to the Second Division, but was back in the First Division for the 2000 season. He stayed here until 2001, when he did not get much first-team football and was loaned out to FF Lillehammer. He then played for Raufoss IL Raufoss IL is a sports club from Raufoss, Norway. Atle Thowsen (born 24 November 1940) is a historian and the Director of the Bergen Maritime Museum and served as president of the International Commission for Maritime History from 2000 to 2005. Early life and education Born in 1940, Thowsen graduated from the University of Bergen in 1964 and received his doctor of philosophy degree in 1984 with a thesis on the shipping history of Bergen, 1914–1939. Atle Teigland (born 16 July 1957) is a Norwegian trade unionist. A certified electrical fitter, he was employed by Kværner (now: Aker Solutions) in 1978. In 2004 he was elected to represent the employees on the board of directors at Aker Solutions, having previously held the same position in Aker RGI and Aker Maritime. Representing 5,000 union members as a board representative of one of Norway's largest corporations, he was referred to as a "grassroots giant" by Norwegian newspaper '' VG'' in 2009. Pål Atle Skjervengen (born 6 October 1960) is a retired Norwegian politician. He was born in Oslo as a son of a police inspector. He finished secondary education in 1979, and briefly studied law, then business administration at the Norwegian School of Management. Atle Skårdal
Atle Skårdal (born 17 February 1966, in Lunde, Telemark, Norway) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer in the speed events of Downhill and Super-G. Since 2012, he is FIS racing director for women races, as successor of Kurt Hoch. A two-time world champion in the Super-G in 1996 and 1997, he was also the World Cup champion in Super-G in 1996. Skårdal competed at the 1988 and 1994 Winter Olympics, with a 6th place in the 1994 Super G his best finish. In 2000, Skårdal was appointed as national team coach of Norway. Atle Selberg
Atle Selberg (14 June 1917 – 6 August 2007) was a Norwegian mathematician known for his work in analytic number theory and the theory of automorphic forms, and in particular for bringing them into relation with spectral theory. He was awarded the Fields Medal in 1950 and an honorary Abel Prize in 2002. Early years Selberg was born in Langesund, Norway, the son of teacher Anna Kristina Selberg and mathematician Ole Michael Ludvigsen Selberg. Two of his three brothers, Sigmund and Henrik, were also mathematicians. His other brother, Arne, was a professor of engineering. Atle Nymo (born 9 June 1977) is a Norwegian jazz musician (tenor saxophone and bass clarinet), and the younger brother of Jazz saxophonist Frode Nymo. He is known for his contributions with the orchestras Motif, one of his main projects, and Trondheim Jazz Orchestra in which he has worked with Jazz greats like Pat Metheny and Chick Corea.
