Atlantica SuperSplash
Atlantica SuperSplash is a water coaster in Europa-Park, Germany. Built by Mack Rides, it opened 19 March 2005. The ride is themed around the Conquistadors of the Portuguese Empire. It is the prototype for identical roller coasters at three other parks around the world. There are also two other SuperSplash coasters with custom layouts, including Journey to Atlantis at SeaWorld San Antonio. Characteristics Atlantica SuperSplash was constructed by Mack Rides. It is a SuperSplash water coaster featuring two drops, the highest being 30 metres. There is a 9 metre drop between the lift hill and main drop. Two turntables enable boats to take this drop in reverse. There is a small airtime hill after the main drop before boats make their ultimate splashdown. The boat is pulled up on the tracks and then start a trip. The finale of the water coaster consists of a steep drop that ends in a wave. This roller coaster is characterised by a gentle layout with drops and splash. Some water coasters turn into log flume style trains once they hit the water, with the traditional coaster rails ending leaving the train floating in a trough. Europa-Park is the largest theme park in Germany, and the second most popular theme park in Europe, after Disneyland Paris. Europa-Park is located in Rust, south-western Germany, between Freiburg im Breisgau and Strasbourg (in neighbouring France). Journey To Atlantis
''Journey to Atlantis'' is the name shared by three Water Coasters located at SeaWorld theme parks. These attractions, while different from one another, tell a similar story of a trip to the mythical land of Atlantis. Each one combines roller coaster elements, such as chain lift hills and steep drops, with boat-based attraction elements, such as splash-down landings. All three attractions were designed by Mack Rides of Germany. SeaWorld Orlando The original ''Journey to Atlantis'' made its debut on April 17, 1998 at SeaWorld Orlando. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom
Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is a theme park situated in Hengqin, Zhuhai, People's Republic of China. It was designed by PGAV Destinations. The park broke ground on 28 November 2010 and soft-opened on 28 January 2014. The grand opening occurred on 29 March that year. The first phase of the park cost Renminbi, RMB 10 billion to build. It is part of the Chimelong International Ocean Tourist Resort, which aims to become the "Orlando of China".
