Atlantean Kodex
Atlantean Kodex is a German heavy metal band from Vilseck in Bavaria. The band is under contract with Ván Records and has released three studio albums so far. History Early years (2005–2010) The band was founded in 2005 by Manuel Trummer (guitar) and Florian Kreuzer (bass). The further members Markus Becker (vocals), Michael Koch (guitar) and Mario White (drums) joined two years later. In 2007, they released the demo ''The Pnakotic Demos'', followed by the EPs ''A Prophet in the Forest'' and ''The Pnakotic Vinyls'' two years later. Vilseck
Vilseck is a town in the Oberpfalz region of northeastern Bavaria, Germany, situated on the river Vils, a tributary of the Naab river. The town is geographically separate from a nearby large American military base known as the ''Rose Barracks'' but more commonly referred to as Vilseck. The base, built in 1937–1938, was captured during World War II from the Germans; it was previously known as Südlager. The town of Vilseck's population was 6,484 citizens living within its area of in 35 hamlets and villages as of December 31, 2005. The town is 402 meters (1,300 feet) above sea level. Bathory (band)
Bathory was a Swedish black metal band formed in Vällingby in March 1983. Eponymously named after the Hungarian countess Elizabeth Báthory, they are often considered pioneers of black metal (alongside Venom and Mercyful Fate) and viking metal. The 1998 book '' Lords of Chaos'' described Bathory's first four albums as "the blueprint for Scandinavian black metal." Acts influenced by their early records include Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Gorgoroth, Satyricon, Immortal, Emperor, Dark Funeral, Enslaved, Marduk, Moonsorrow and Dimmu Borgir. Carl Amery
Carl Amery (9 April 1922 – 24 May 2005), the pen name of Christian Anton Mayer, was a German writer and environmental activist. Born in Munich, he studied at the University of Munich. He was a participant of Gruppe 47. He died in Munich. Amery won the Deutscher Fantasy Preis in 1996. Rainbow (also known as Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow or Blackmore's Rainbow) are a British rock supergroup, formed in London and Los Angeles in 1975 by guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Solstice (doom Metal Band)
Solstice is an English epic doom metal band from Dewsbury, founded by Rich Walker after the breakup of his previous hardcore punk / grindcore bands Sore Throat and Warfear. Rich Walker previously ran The Miskatonic Foundation, a record label dedicated to doom metal and traditional heavy metal. History Contemporary with the second wave of black metal that was especially active in Norway and other Scandinavian nations, Solstice released their debut album ''Lamentations'' on England's Candlelight Records in 1994. The album was followed by a UK tour with Count Raven and a European tour with Anathema. 1996 saw the release of the ''Halcyon'' EP on Godhead Recordings; two years later, the band signed with Misanthropy Records, which helped release ''New Dark Age''. Iced Earth is an American heavy metal band formed in Tampa, Florida and currently based in Columbus, Indiana.
