Atlanta Heartbreakers
The Atlanta Heartbreakers are a team of the Women's Spring Football League which began play for the 2011 season. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, home games are played on the campus of Pebblebrook High School in nearby Mableton. They were members of the Women's Football Alliance for their inaugural season before leaving for the WSFL for the 2013 season. Women's Football Alliance
The Women's Football Alliance (WFA) is a professional full-contact Women's American football tackle minor league that began play in 2009. It is the largest 11-on-11 football league for women in the world, and the longest running active women's football league in the U.S. Since 2016, the league has operated with three competitive levels: Pro, Division 2 and Division 3. The league is owned and operated by Jeff King and Lisa Gibbons King of Exeter, California. Lisa King is also a wide receiver for the WFA's, Los Angeles Warriors. In addition to operating annual national championship seasons in the United States, the league also operates the WFA International Program which organizes international competitions for its own Team United and Team World against each other and all-star teams from other nations. Orlando Anarchy
The Orlando Anarchy are a women's American football team based in the Orlando metropolitan area. They currently play in the Women's Football Alliance. They play their home games at Trinity Preparatory School in the city of Winter Park, FL. The team was founded in 2010 as the Central Florida Anarchy, starting play in the first year of the WFA. They filled a void in women's football in Orlando left by the demise of the Independent Women's Football League's Orlando Mayhem. Miami Fury
The Miami Fury is a football team in the Women's Football Alliance. Based in Miami, Florida, the Fury plays its home games at Carter Park. History 2000 The Fury was formed as a charter member of the Women's Professional Football League when it started full-league play in 2000 (previously, it had just been a barnstorming venture between the Lake Michigan Minx and the Minnesota Vixen). The Fury were placed in the National Conference South Division alongside their in-state rivals the Daytona Beach Barracudas and the Tampa Tempest. The Gulf Coast Riptide was a women's American football full contact football team in the Women's Spring Football League founded in 2001 as the Pensacola Power of the National Women's Football Association.
